Meet Mason Stansbury (pictured below) and James Wilson (pictured above), the 2026-2027 Dick Franklin Performance Award winners.
Wilson works at Atlanta Country Club while also attending the University of Mississippi as an Accounting major. Stansbury works at Country Club of Roswell and is pursuing a degree in Business Finance at Georgia Tech.
The Dick Franklin Performance Award recognizes performance both in and out of the classroom, and is given to the Most Outstanding Rising Junior and Most Outstanding Rising Senior.
Dick Franklin was a passionate and dedicated volunteer who passed away suddenly in 2005 while serving as President of the GSGA Foundation and on the Executive Committee of the Georgia State Golf Association. These awards honor his legacy by recognizing Yates Scholars who excel both in and out of the classroom.
