Meet The 2021 Southeastern Challenge Match Team

The Southeastern Challenge Match is a biennial competition among male amateur golfers representing the GSGA, the Florida State Golf Association and the Alabama Golf Association. The 12-man teams consist of eight mid-amateurs and four seniors. The site rotates among the three states. Georgia and Florida are tied all-time with eight wins with Alabama aiming for their second.
The 18th edition of the competition is set for Oct. 16-17 at Willow Point Golf & Country Club in Alexander City, Alabama. Team Georgia will be represented by a great group of 12 players as the Peach State aims for a third-straight Southeastern Challenge Match.

The Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA) is the governing body of golf in Georgia and serves as an Allied Golf Association to the United States Golf Association (USGA). Membership in the GSGA is open to all golfers, facilities and golf clubs throughout the state. Golfers that join the GSGA have access to invaluable resources that allow them to advance their knowledge of the game and numerous opportunities to play in both competitive and fun, casual events. By becoming a member of the GSGA, you will be joining a community that includes more than 350 clubs and 80,000 golfers who all have one thing in common: a passion for the game of golf.
