2019 Southeastern Challenge Match - Team Georgia

The 17th Southeastern Challenge Match is set to take place Oct. 20-21, 2019 at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta.

History
The Southeastern Challenge Match is a biennial competition among male amateur golfers representing the Georgia State Golf Association, the Florida State Golf Association and the Alabama Golf Association and began in 1989. The 12-man teams consist of eight mid-amateurs and four seniors. The site rotates among the three states. Florida leads with eight wins all-time, while Georgia has seven and Alabama one. Georgia holds the record for consecutive wins with five (2000-2008).

The Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA) is the governing body of golf in Georgia and serves as an Allied Golf Association to the United States Golf Association (USGA).
