A student at Baylor University and a dedicated archery competitor, Sophia Grayson reached an incredible milestone in 2025 by becoming a USA Paralympic Archery Champion.
Sophia fell in love with archery in middle school, and has been playing ever since.
"Honestly what drew me to it was that it was a non-traditional sport that I could do with the limitations that I had and felt like I could be really good at something even if it wasn't what everybody else thought was like the normal sport to play."
Thanks to the GSGA Foundation Yates Scholarship Program, Sophia has had more time to dedicate to her training and pursue her passion for the sport.
