ATLANTA, GA. - National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) celebrates the impact sports have on empowering women and girls and recognizing the leaders who help shape the future of athletics.
To mark NGWSD 2026, we highlighted the women of the Georgia State Golf Association who work behind the scenes to grow the game of golf across Georgia. We asked each of them one question: What has golf taught you?
Their answers reflected the values that make golf so special: confidence, resilience, leadership, and community.
Through their roles, these women help create opportunities, expand access, and ensure the game continues to grow for future generations. Today, we’re proud to celebrate the women who help move golf forward in Georgia.
