Brenda Pictor Wins GSGA Senior Women's Championship

Savannah - Fighting through challenging playing conditions, it was a familiar face who once again came out on top for the victory. Brenda Pictor of Marietta posted rounds of 75-76 to claim her seventh Georgia Senior Women's Championship title. In the Super Senior Championship it was Ginette Spinucci of Stone Mountain who built an early lead and finished it off with a strong final round.

Behind Pictor in the Senior Division was Susan Rheney of Greensboro who posted a 80-74 for a second place finish and Cheryl Grigg of Sea Island who posted 78-78 rounds for third place. 

Here are the rest of the winners by flights:
 
Senior 1 Flight, Maria Johnson of Jesup won with a total score of 16-over-par 160. 

Senior 2 Flight, Cynthia Andrews of Murphy won with a total score of 22-over-par 166.

Senior 3 Flight, Brenda Morawa of Atlanta won with a total score of 38-over-
par 182.

Senior 4 Flight, Tina Hawkins of Macon won with a total score of 40-over-
par 184.  

Super Senior 2 Flight, Fran Coody of Perry won with a total score of 41-over-par 185. 
 
The 2017 Senior and Super Senior Championship Women's Championship was played at The Club at Savannah Harbor on August 21-22.

This event was open to female amateur golfers age 50 or older as of the first day of the competition for the Senior Division or age 65 or older for the Super Senior Division.
