Notes:
Bob Royak of Alpharetta posts a 5-under-par 66 to earn medalist honors and qualify for the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship. This was an 18-hole qualifier at Laurel Springs Golf Club in Suwanee with four qualifying spots up for grabs. 

Royak piled up five birdies during his round and made an eagle on the Par-5 561-yard 7th hole. Two players posted a 4-under-par 67 to qualify. They were Steve Golliher of Knoxville, TN and Louis Brown of Marietta. The final qualifying spot went to a familiar face. Jack Larkin posted a 3-under-par 68 to advance. Larkin won the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in 1979.
