Three players - Rusty Mosley, Thomas Todd III, Kevin O'Connell - tied for medalist honors and advance to the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship after each posting a 3-under-par 69 at an 18-hole qualifier at The Legends at Chateau Elan in Braselton.

Tevis Upton and Don Carpenter, who both finished at 2-under-par 70, also qualified. Six players finished the round at 1-under-par 71, so a playoff was needed to determine the final qualifying spot and two alternate positions.

Nick Cassini, Miles McConnell, Kirk Whitehead, Kris Mikkelsen, Andy Labanauskas and Logan Harrell all finished 18 holes at 1-under-par 71. Once the playoff was settled, it was Cassini who secured the final qualifying spot into the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship. McConnell and Whitehead finish as first and second alternate, respectively.
