Amanda Doherty Wins Georgia Top 60 Women's Classic

ALPHARETTA - Amanda Doherty of Atlanta maintains the lead through some adversity in the final round thanks to Mother Nature to hold on and win the Georgia Top 60 Women's Classic. The 37th edition of this event took place at The Manor Golf & Country Club, June 27-28.

Doherty earned the victory in record-setting fashion. Her 10-under-par 134 (65-69) is the lowest score in the 37-year history of the Georgia Top 60 Women's Classic. Finishing a handful of strokes behind her was Madison Caldwell of Milton, who posted a 5-under-par 139 (67-72) for runner-up honors.

Brooke Sansom of Pike Road came in third at 3-under-par 141 (71-70), and Sarah Harrison of Martinez finished fourth at 2-under-par 142 (72-70). Three players tied for fifth at 1-under-par 143, including Rinko Mitsunaga of Roswell (70-73), Sara Im of Duluth (70-73) and Thienna Huyng of Lilburn (71-72).
