Notes:
A total of 75 players (the top 44 and those within eight strokes of the leader) advance to the second and final round of the U.S. Amateur Championship sectional qualifier taking place at Capital City Club-Crabapple Course in Woodstock.

The second round gets underway at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. After 36 holes, the top six players advance to the U.S. Amateur Championship.  Two alternates will also be determined.

During the first round, a total of 12 players shot par or better on the par-70, 7,147-yard layout, led by Brendan Williams of Atlanta and Christian Raynor of Kennesaw, Ga., who each turned in a 68.

Capital City Club is hosting the first of two U.S. Amateur qualifiers in Georgia.  The second takes place August 6-7 at The Standard Club in Duluth.

The 107th annual U.S. Amateur Championship will be held at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif., August 20-26.  Entries were open to amateur golfers who have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 2.4.  The U.S. Amateur is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
