Format and Schedule
A qualifier for the 2010 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship will be conducted by the Georgia State Golf Association on Monday, July 19.  Brookfield Country Club in Roswell hosts 66 players competing over 18 holes for seven spots and two alternate positions into the Championship.

Brookfield Country Club is one of 18 qualifying sites nationwide taking place July 6-21.

Directions to Brookfield Country Club – GA 400 N. to Exit 7-B/Holcomb Bridge Road. Go west 6 miles, turn right on Mountain Park Road. Turn right into Brookfield West subdivision, turn left at the first stop sign.  Web site is www.brookfieldcountryclub.com.

Brookfield Country Club will play to 6,338 yards and a par of 72.

U.S. Women's Amateur Championship
The 110th annual U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship will be held at Charlotte (N.C.) Country Club, August 9-15, 2010.  Entries were open to women amateur golfers who have a USGA Handicap not exceeding 5.4.  The U.S. Women’s Amateur is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association.
